Kata-juji-jime
Kata-juji-jime is a half-cross strangle. Tori crosses the wrists with one thumb-inside collar grip and one fingers-inside grip, then pulls with one hand and presses with the other so the collar edges tighten against both sides of Uke's neck.

Movement sequence
- Cross the wrists and take one collar with the thumb inside and the opposite collar with four fingers inside.
- Set the forearms along the sides of Uke's neck and remove slack before adding pressure.
- Coordinate the pulling and pressing hands slowly, releasing immediately when Uke taps.
- Apply only under qualified supervision, monitor Uke continuously, and release immediately when Uke taps.
