O-guruma
O-guruma is a major wheel. Tori breaks Uke's balance forward, turns across the body, places an extended leg high across Uke's lower abdomen or upper thighs, and rotates Uke around that leg as an axis.

Movement sequence
- Draw Uke strongly forward and turn with your hips clear of a full hip load.
- Extend the throwing leg across Uke's upper thighs or lower abdomen with stable support-foot alignment.
- Rotate the grips and torso so Uke wheels over the leg without a kicking action.
- Maintain the controlling grip, guide Uke to a safe landing, and practise the action under qualified supervision.
Safety and training context
Use this page to prepare for coached practice, not as a substitute for instruction. Throws, locks, and strangles require appropriate experience, a qualified partner, safe matting, and direct supervision.
