Ryo-te-jime
Ryote-jime is a two-hand collar strangle. Facing Uke, Tori grips both collars with the thumbs inside and places the fists or forearm edges beside the neck, then draws the elbows in and down to tighten the lapels.

Movement sequence
- Take balanced thumb-inside grips on both collars and remove slack evenly.
- Place the gripping fists and forearms on the sides of Uke's neck, not over the face.
- Bring the elbows into a compact line and apply gradually, releasing immediately at the tap.
- Apply only under qualified supervision, monitor Uke continuously, and release immediately when Uke taps.
