Tsuri-goshi
Tsuri-goshi is a lifting hip throw that uses a rear belt grip. Tori breaks Uke's balance forward, lifts through the belt, places the hips below Uke's center, and rotates Uke over the back of the hip.

Movement sequence
- Reach over or under Uke's arm to secure the rear belt and draw Uke close.
- Lift the belt as you turn in with bent knees and place your hips beneath Uke.
- Extend and rotate while keeping the belt and sleeve connected through the landing.
- Maintain the controlling grip, guide Uke to a safe landing, and practise the action under qualified supervision.
